The 500-page volume includes contributions from 71 of Nolan’s friends and contemporaries, reflecting on his intellectual prowess, humility, and commitment to the anti-apartheid struggle. The book also highlights Nolan’s role in writing the Kairos document, his anti-apartheid activism, and how he supported activists during the apartheid era. On the 7th of June 2023, with great joy, the Province of St Joseph the Worker, Nigeria and Ghana celebrated the conferment of the academic title Magister in Sacra Theologia (STM) by the Master of the Order, Fr Gerard Timoner III, OP on a son of the province, Fr Anthony Akinwale, OP.
